Federal bids, found and read for you.

Every morning Solicity searches SAM.gov for work in your trade. Open any bid that looks promising and it pulls down the whole package and reads it back to you — the site, the scope, the line items — so you can call bid or no-bid in about thirty seconds.

Free during early access · about 3 minutes to set up

SAM.gov has the work. Finding it is the problem.

Thousands of notices a week, buried under codes nobody explains, with the real details locked inside PDFs. Most contractors either never look, or lose an evening a week digging. Solicity does the digging.

🏗️

Tuned to your trade

Pick your trade and we set the right industry and buying codes — including the traps. The federal security code literally excludes locksmiths; miss that and you miss half your work.

📑

It reads the documents

Not just a link dump. Ask for the package on any bid and Solicity opens the PDFs, Word files and spreadsheets and pulls out the site, the scope, the itemized breakdown, brand requirements, and exactly how to submit. Written read-throughs are live for access control and locksmith work today; the other trades are rolling out.

📦

Ship it or drive to it

Every bid is tagged supply or on‑site. Hardware you can ship shows up from all fifty states; work that needs a truck stays in the states you serve.

This is what one bid looks like

Duke Field, Eglin AFB, Florida — 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne).

What the job is

Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the access control system: routine and preventative service, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair of readers, door contacts, locking mechanisms, controllers and power supplies. Cameras are explicitly excluded. Firm-fixed-price, one base year plus two option years.

Worth asking about: the notice title says Lenel, but the attached statement of work repeatedly names a Honeywell S2 NetBox system. Two different manufacturers in one solicitation — get that answered before you price it.

That catch was found by Solicity reading the attachments — it never appears in the listing.

Built by a lock shop, not a software company

I run a low-voltage and locksmith business. I built Solicity because I was losing evenings to SAM.gov and still missing work in my own back yard.

The first week it ran, it surfaced 76 opportunities for my shop — a locksmith set-aside at a Florida wildlife refuge, an 11,000-unit padlock supply buy, and a Lenel maintenance contract at Eglin. It also taught me the security industry code excludes locksmiths, which is why my searches had been missing half my trade for years.

Every trade has a trap like that. Solicity knows them so you don't have to.
