Who runs Solicity
Solicity is built and operated by Dolphins Lock and Security, a working locksmith and low-voltage contractor. Questions about anything on this page go to ramosdaniel429@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your email address — to sign you in, confirm your account, and reset your password if you're locked out.
- Your company name — shown on your own board, nowhere else.
- Your trade and states — so we know which bids to put in front of you.
- The bids you star and their status — so your list survives a cleared browser and follows you to another device.
- Your password — stored only as a scrambled fingerprint (a scrypt hash). Nobody, including us, can read it back.
- Basic server logs — the ordinary records a web server keeps in order to run and to spot abuse.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don't send marketing email you didn't ask for.
- We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
- We never submit a bid on your behalf, and we never see your pricing.
Who else sees it
Nobody. We don't share your account details with third parties. The bid information itself comes from SAM.gov, which is public U.S. government data — searching it doesn't tell the government anything about you, because your searches run on our server under our own access, not yours.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. Delete your account from Settings and everything we hold on our server — your login, your company details, your trade and states, and your starred bids — is removed immediately and permanently. Stars that your browser saved locally stay on that device until you clear its data.
Security, honestly
Your password is only ever stored as an unreadable hash, and signing in is rate-limited against guessing. While Solicity is in early access it is served over plain HTTP, which means traffic between you and the site is not encrypted. Until that changes, please don't reuse a password here that you use anywhere else. We'll update this page the day encryption is switched on.
Cookies
One cookie, used to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
